SHE'S THE MAN!!!

The Elizabeth in this movie, played by Cate Blanchett,is unsure of herself in her new role as queen, literally jiggling in her seat. She is portrayed as naive and in love for Lord Robert .In fact, the woman who donned the English coronation was a hardened and practiced politician who was not afraid of her power, and knew how to use it.She was raised in the reign of her father,King Henry, learning only too well how dangerous even a slight personal or political mistakes could be Elizabeth's strength of character came from surviving the incident of being the only offspring of Anne Boleyn, bastardized, patronized, and often threatened with physical harm, even death.Keenly intelligent, she was taught by the finest teachers,as befitted a true Renaissance queen.By the time she came to the throne,in addition to her political situation, she managed to be the real 'king'.

First, I do agree with you that Elizabeth is a naive queen. Based on the movie, I could say that the conflicts arise when Elizabeth was confused between her personal life and the country matter. It is true that she could manage herself as queen even though men dominate everything. Besides that I am interested with your opinion on how does Elizabeth’s characters was portrayed in the movie. She reveals herself as a strong character which proves that she is a real king. I assume that we have same ideas on the movie. Well done.
